TESTIMONIALS
Trusted by local industry leaders
“Over the past few years we have utilized Red Letter for various events both large and small. No matter what we need, Red Letter always has the equipment and expertise to facilitate our events and meet our needs. The entire team is knowledgeable, professional, and highly-skilled in their departments. Additionally, Red Letter has served as collaborators in both the branding and production of our events. Their ability to work in conjunction with our team’s ideas and turn them into a reality has been invaluable to the present and long-term success of our events. Our yearly convention normally requires us to rent a space which is often not designed or equipped to service our needs. However, with the help of Red Letter, we have been able to conduct our services at the highest levels from both a production and technical standpoint. Whether it is having proficient staff, cutting-edge equipment, or innovative production ideas, I know our events are in good hands with Red Letter. “

We’re excited to connect & see how we can help.
How can we find technology solutions that will make your life better?
F.A.Q.
#1 What are the actual benefits of baseline IT management and maintenance?
- Reduced Downtime – IT systems are less likely to experience unplanned downtime when they’re regularly monitored and maintained.
- Improved Security – Regular maintenance can help identify and fix security vulnerabilities before they’re exploited.
- Increased Productivity – Well-maintained IT systems are more reliable and user-friendly, resulting in increased productivity for users.
- Better Decision Making – With up-to-date information on IT assets and performance, business leaders can make more informed decisions about where to allocate resources.
#2 Is there a real threat out there for SMALL businesses?
- “28% of data breaches involve small businesses”
- “42% of small business owners have developed new digital capabilities and will maintain them after the pandemic.”
- “Outsourcing is typically 30-40% cheaper than hiring in-house.”
#3 What are the benefits of investing in cloud backup? Is there an encrypted solution?
A few of the major benefits are NO hardware hassles, it is efficient & has a unique ease of use, different from onsite options – it is easy to automate & manage customizable views and reports. Our new backup solution, Cove Data Protection is the top of the line, secure, trusted, and encrypted backup solution – want to learn more? Click Here
#4 Does our company really need to change our passwords that often? Or make them that complicated?
Although password management is completely up to the organization, we always answer this question with a resounding yes.
Maybe your protocols for credential protection aren’t as rudimentary as the “sticky note method,” but they still need to be secure enough to withstand a brute force attack or phishing attack.
Did you know?
- 78% of attackers use stolen credentials to gain unauthorized access to business applications
- 65% of end-users are using identical passwords for multiple accounts
- 43% of cyberattacks target small businesses
Great question. Malware is the umbrella term used to cover a variety of viruses, Trojans, spyware, adware, and other malicious programs. We’ve included quick descriptions below to get you up to speed, but don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have more questions.
- Trojans: apps that appear normal but usually allow someone else to come access/monitor you or take over your PC.
- Viruses: disabling certain cyber functions – similar to our “real life” viruses
- Adware: In other words “Advertising-Supported Software”. All of the unsolicited ads you see on your websites and browsers are designed by advertisers to generate revenue and hopefully pull your attention
- Ransomware: one of the scariest that our small businesses face – ransomware simply holds your computer “captive” until the demanded ransom is given. It can be acquired like any virus through downloaded files, network vulnerabilities, or installed programs
- Spyware: literally “spying” on your activity, which can include data harvesting, software or setting modifications – although this doesn’t sound as scary” it is just as serious as the repercussions of ransomware, so don’t understand the effects.
- Worms: not the earthy friends we are used to – worms are the most common type of malware. They normally exploit OS (Operating Systems) vulnerabilities and cause most of their damage by overloading servers and consuming bandwidth.
Have questions on how to protect your business from malware? We’re happy to help. However, if you want to get started right away, there are free antimalware programs or added security by purchasing premium options. Other helpful tips are simply to be careful with your internet use – don’t visit untrusted or unsecure sites, don’t download from “sketchy” sources, and don’t click on anything that seems to have no reason or is not accounted for. Now, more questions? We’d love to chat.
